The conference for Engineering Managers

The Lead Developer is an international conference for tech leaders to develop themselves and get inspired to empower their teams.

In 2018, 1300+ Engineering Managers, Lead Developers, VPs of Engineering, and CTOs joined us at our conferences in London, New York and Austin to learn from the best in leadership.

Our Call for Proposals has ended

Thanks so much for an overwhelming response to our CFP. We're running a little behind on the review process but we'll be in contact with all applicants in the next couple of weeks.

In the meantime, check out our previous conference videos for talks on building and growing a distributed team, creating a more inclusive culture, introducing processes to ship faster, improving product reliability and security, and so much more!

Our first speakers

Scholarship scheme

To help make the conference more inclusive, we run a scholarship scheme to provide free conference tickets. In some cases, we can also cover travel and accommodation costs for those who need it. We can also pair you up with a conference guide who will be a friendly face throughout the conference – this can be especially helpful if it's your first time at a conference.

If you'd like to know more about the scholarship scheme before applying, please email us and we'd be happy to help.

Application deadline: January 15.
